If you’re headed to Disney World or Disneyland to stay on-site, you’ll want to make note of these refurbishments or changes going on during your stay.

If you’re headed to Disney World or Disneyland this year, you’ll want to make note of these refurbishments or changes going on during your stay:
All-Star Movies – The Duck Pond Pool will be closed for refurbishment from March 4th-15th. Fantasia Pool will remain open during this time.
All-Star Sports – The Surf’s Up feature pool will be closed for refurbishment from February 25th-March 6th.
Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House: Uzima Springs Pool Slide will be closed for refurbishment from January 14th through February 8th but the pool will remain open.
Boardwalk Resort – From Jan. 2 – Apr. 12, 2013, the Boardwalk Bakery will be closed for expansion. A coffee cart will be available on the boardwalk area during this time.
From Jan. 28 – Mar. 1, 2013, the Luna Park Pool will be closed for refurbishment. Guests may use the other leisure pools located next to Community Hall or on the Inn side.
Contemporary Resort – California Grill will be closed for refurbishment February 2nd, 2013 through Summer 2013.
The 14th floor Suites will undergo a refurbishment from January 6th, 2013 through Summer 2013. This includes a hard and soft goods refurbishment and a renovation to the concierge lounge.
The Bay Lake Tower – Bay Cove Slide will be closed for refurbishment from January 15th through February 8th. The Pool will remain open.
Coronado Springs Resort – The Dig Site feature pool slide will be closed for refurbishment from January 17th through February 1st. The Pool will remain open.
Grand Floridian Resort - The Ivy Trellis Salon will be closed for refurbishment through February 6th. American Beauty Salon and Captain’s Chair at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or Casa de Belleza Salon at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort available.
Through February 2013, the Courtyard Pool and Bar will be closed for refurbishment. The Beach Pool will remain open during this time. Beaches Pool Bar & Grill will be open.
Grand Floridian Beach area is closed due to construction until TBD.
The Beach Pool Slide will be closed for refurbishment from February 24th through March 8th. The Pool will remain open.
Pop Century Resort – The Bowling Pin Pool will be closed for refurbishment from February 25th-27th.
Old Key West Resort -
Sandcastle Feature Pool Slide will be closed for refurbishment through February 15th. The Pool will remain open.
Port Orleans Riverside – Ol’ Man Island Pool slide will be closed for refurbishment from January 7th through February 1st. Pool will remain open.
Saratoga Springs Resort – The High Rock Spring Pool Slide is closed for refurbishment until February 8th. During this time, the High Rock Spring Pool as well as The Paddock Pool and Slide will remain open.
From January 16th through Summer 2013, The Spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort will be closed for refurbishment. Guests may be referred to Senses – A Disney Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort for spa services.
Wilderness Lodge Resort – Silver Springs Pool Slide will be closed for refurbishment through January 18th. Silver Springs Pool will remain open during this time.
Yacht and Beach Club Resorts - Stormalong Bay feature pool slide will be closed for refurbishment from January 16th-25th. Stormalong Bay Pool will be open during this time. Guests can use the slide at Luna Park Pool at the BoardWalk Resort.
Stormalong Bay kiddie pool slide will be closed for refurbishment from February 1st-12th.
