2 weeks ago, Jim Lewis, the President of the Disney Vacation Club was fired.
This comes as a?surprise, as Disney’s new resort Aulani, which will have 460 DVC rooms,?is set to open in just a few days. There is also a rumor that the expansion going on at Grand Floridian will include DVC rooms.
Sales of time share units at Aulani have been suspended for the time being, and a new DVC Senior Vice President has already been named.
Claire Bilby, who has been with Disney since 1998, has worked in both Marketing and Sales with Disney.
