Disney’s Wilderness Lodge continues to be a fan-favorite resort and it’s easy to see why.

The resort has a wide variety of outdoor activities that go beyond the swimming pool. Activities include renting bikes, surrey bikes, pontoon boats, SeaRaycers, and more. The resort also has a white sand beach, and while swimming is strictly prohibited from the beach it’s a great place to sit in the sun and relax. The Silver Springs Pool features a water slide, two hot tubs, and a wading pool for the little kids.
One of the many perks of staying at the Wilderness Lodge is the availability of boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom. The boats launch from the Wilderness Lodge Boat Dock and with boats traveling to the Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary, and Fort Wilderness.
If you’re looking for some of the best dining choices on Disney property, stop by the Wilderness Lodge. You’ll find the Whispering Canyon Café, signature dining location Artist Point, and the quick service location the Roaring Fork.
But perhaps the most talked about feature of the Wilderness Lodge is the lobby. No matter how many times you’ve walked in, the towering Lodgepole Pine, the 55-foot totem poles, and the 82-foot tall fireplace will still leave you awe-struck.
