Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is in the midst of a major renovation that includes the construction of a new 15-story tower.
Today we learned the name of the tower – Gran Destino Tower – and that it is slated to open in July 2019.
This new tower will serve as the main entrance to the hotel with a two-story lobby, and will feature 545 new guest rooms including 50 suite.
The tower will also feature a themed rooftop table service restaurant that will give guests great views of the Walt Disney World Resort.
Another new dining location is slated to open in the middle of the resort’s 14-acre lake, Lago Dorado, “with new walkways stretching across the water, making it convenient no matter where guests stay at the resort.”
Guests will soon be able to make reservations for the Gran Destino Tower for stays starting in July 2019.
