Horses in the Park

Tri-Circle D Ranch is also the home to the horses that pull trolleys down Main Street, participate in the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade and special events like weddings.

These horses also pull along the carriages at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.

History at Tri-Circle D Ranch

There are two unique rooms to check out at the Tri-Circle D Ranch.

Make sure to view the Dragon Calliope, a horse-drawn musical?instrument?that Walt Disney purchased to be used in the parades at Disneyland in the 1950’s. The Calliope is used only for special events in the Disney Parks and has to be pulled by as many as eight horses!

There is also the Walt Disney Horses Room which features many pictures of Walt Disney with his beloved horses.
