Disney’s Art of Animation has been open for almost a month now with guests being able to stay in the Finding Nemo section of the resort. Starting today, the Cars wing is also officially open! One of my favorite things about the original Cars movie were the details of Route 66 and Radiator Springs. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is now open and excitement is high for this brand new Walt Disney World Resort! We took a look at the Finding Nemo Family Suites at Art of Animation, but today we are taking a closer look at the kitchenettes. With the suites sleeping up to 6, having a kitchenette will help cut some costs by being able to store snacks and drinks. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is set to open in just about two weeks and the Disney Parks Blog is giving a sneak peek of what merchandise will be featured in the Ink and Paint Shop. Disney Design Group Artist Bob Holden says, “The Walt Disney Imagineering team was an outstanding partner,” exclaimed Bob. “They provided the art files that we used for the merchandise. With Disney’s Art of Animation set to open up on May 31st, our friends over at the Disney Food Blog was able to get a sneak peek of the Landscape of Flavors Food Court and check out the menus.
