Contemporary Resort Pumpkin Carving Contest
The cast members at Disney’s Contemporary Resort participated in a pumpkin carving contest during Halloween week. The carved pumpkins were on display on October 30 and 31, and throughout Halloween day guests had a chance to vote for their favorite pumpkins. This Cinderella-themed pumpkin was voted “Best Disney Theme” in the contest. While this amazing Mickey Mouse creation was voted the “Best Overall” pumpkin by guests. Guests at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa can celebrate Halloween in paradise with several fun activities planned for this month. On October 24 and 31 the Halawai Lawn becomes the location for the Keiki Halloween Party. Guests can dress up in costumes and enjoy crafts, games, and face painting. Disney characters will also be on hand for photos and meet-and-greet opportunities. Teen guests ages 13-17 at Aulani can enjoy a Hallow “Teen” party on October 24, 26, and 28. Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel is celebrating Halloween with a ‘Mahaloween Luau’ on September 29. The Mahaloween Luau has several reserved seatings: 3-4 p.m., 4:30-5:30 p.m., 6-7 p.m., or 7:30-8:30 p.m. Each seating will be reserved for 100 guests who can take part in a seasonal party featuring special drinks and food, live music, and meet-and-greets with Imagineers and Disney cast members.
