The overnight parking rates have increased at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. The rates for overnight parking for guests at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels was introduced last year and the price increase was effective as of June 18. A new credit card policy for guests who wish to put a credit card on file during their stay will begin at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels on February 27. Under the new policy the Hotels will place “incremental authorization holds on the card for estimated incidental expenses, in addition to any balance due on the reservation.” The authorization hold will be for any balance due on the reservations plus $100 for expected incidental purchases, according to Disney. These dates are MUCH earlier than normal, presumably to counteract the huge crowds that are expected this fall and winter for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
