Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii, has once again been recognized for its efforts to “be green.”
The resort was recently presented with four awards from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), including the Green Sustainable Program with a Resort and the ACE Project of Excellence Award for being the best of the best.
Aulani is the first Hawaiian resort to be LEED certified, having achieved Silver Certification last year.
The resort’s green efforts have always been at the forefront of planning, and Disney says they will continue to focus their efforts around energy savings, recycling, and more.
