Visiting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort during Christmas is a magical thing in itself. While the enormous tree in the lobby is breathtaking, you will most likely be drawn to the 16 foot tall Gingerbread House in the lobby.
The Grand Floridian’s Gingerbread House is a popular site to visit for any guest visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. The Gingerbread House takes over 400 hours to bake the more than 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 35 pounds of spice and 10,000 pieces of gingerbread. This Gingerbread House even has smoke coming out of the chimney!
After taking those Christmas Card pictures of Disney’s Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, make sure to stop and buy a freshly baked treat, like this mini Gingerbread House!
