The Downtown Disney Resort Area Hotels are offering a special discounted rate for first responders including police officers, firefighters, EMTs, doctors, and nurses.
The special rates begin at $75 and vary from hotel to hotel. The first responder travel rates are good through September 30, 2014 which means guests can take advantage of the many events this summer at Walt Disney World including the Sounds Like Summer Concert Series and the start of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.
The hotels are also offering a special summer rate starting at $75 for teachers and support staff. Rates vary based on hotels and are good through September 30.
Other current promotions include a 15 percent discount for Florida and Georgia residents and a discount of up to 20 percent for all active and retired military personnel.
The seven hotels that make up the Downtown Disney Resort Area Hotels are: Best Western, Buena Vista Palace, Double Tree Suites, Hilton, Holiday Inn, B Resort and Spa, and the Wyndham.
