One of the best things about Walt Disney World Resorts are the themed pools! Each pool is unique and has its own great features!
Today we are talking about the pools at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Grand Floridian has two very different pools.
The Courtyard Pool is a 300,000 gallon pool and is open 24 hours. There?s no need to leave the pool for several hours, as there is a Pool House that serves snacks and drinks. You can also spend time playing ping pong or just relaxing! There?s plenty of lounge chairs and seating around the Courtyard Pool. Towels are available and there is also a beach towel return.
There is also a small kiddie pool for the little ones to splash in and a hot tub for the adults to relax in.
If you?re looking for a themed pool at the Grand Floridian then you will love the Beach Pool. The Beach Pool is situated on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon. It?s a zero entrance depth pool so no need to worry about steps.
The entire pool is only a maximum of 4 feet deep and little ones love to splash along the shallow end. If you?re looking for a little more action there is a rock waterfall and water slide. When you?re on top of the water slide you will catch a great glimpse of the beach and the Seven Seas Lagoon!
There are organized Kids Activities where they sometimes even set up Nintendo Wiis! There is also a hair wrap station and pop jets for the little ones to run through.
If you?re hungry there is a pool bar that serves fast food and drinks.
If you need to wash off or change, there are washrooms and showers available near the Beach Pool. There is shampoo, conditioner and soap available in each shower. There are also lockers, hair dryers and towels for your convenience.
Which pool do you choose? The Courtyard Pool or the Beach Pool?
