One of the things we love most about visiting Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is receiving a lei upon arrival! It adds to the authenticity of the resort and makes you feel so welcome.
The next time you’re visiting Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort we recommend taking a few minutes to visit the Hawaiian cultural ambassadors set up in the lobby where they are creating handmade leis and headbands out of fresh flowers and ribbons.
One a recent visit we spotted traditional leis made from fresh carnations and even one that was filled with candy!
The headbands were made with fresh carnations and ribbon – perfect for the Hawaiian princess in the family! All the items are available for purchase and range in price from $10-20.
It was incredible to watch the leis and headbands being created and there’s nothing better than a handmade souvenir to remember your stay at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
