Do you like the ease of hopping on the monorail after a late night, instead of fighting the buses?
Starting July 11th, monorail service at Epcot will stop running one hour after the scheduled park closing. On August 1st, the monorail service will also stop running one hour after scheduled park closing for the Magic Kingdom.
If you like to take advantage of the monorail after a late night of Extra Magic Hour in the parks, you will no longer be able to do that. The monorail service will not be running during Extra Magic Hours, so guests will have to rely on buses and boat transportation.
Disney is reporting that the monorails, which are 20 year old, will be undergoing maintenance.
