It’s been an exciting few weeks over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort with the soft opening of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and the first phase of the Bora Bora Bungalows opening too!
We had the chance to stop by the resort recently and we took so many fun photos that we just wanted to share some with you. It’s like a virtual vacation from your computer!
The main feature pool at the Polynesian Village is finally open again after nearly a year of refurbishment just in time for the spring and summer crowds! There’s a fence around the pool now, which seems to be par for the course with the Disney resort pools after refurbishment.
And next to the pool the Barefoot Pool Bar has also reopened. Looks like a perfect spot to grab a tropical cocktail while you’re enjoying a day at the pool.
And we can’t forget about Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto! Our friends at the Disney Food Blog have a great review posted about Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and the Tiki Terrace! You don’t want to miss it!
We love this new Tiki outside the Tiki Terrace! The Tiki Terrace also has some great outdoor seating – it would be a great place to spend some time the next time you’re at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
You’ll also want to check out some of the new merchandise at the resort, like this Tiki tote bag!
