While it’s been up for a few weeks, we haven’t yet had a chance to spotlight the new sign at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. But we were able to snap a few photos of it on a recent visit and we have to say, the sign is gorgoues!
The resort’s new sign looks like volcanic rock – fitting for the setting of the hotel – and it also features the new/old moniker ‘Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.’
Construction continues at the hotel with work on the Great Ceremonial House lobby continuing through December. The lobby is being reimagined to focus on cultural elements of Polynesia. Guests will continue to see construction walls in the lobby area until the work is completed.
The Nanea Volcano Pool is closed until sometime in 2015 and guests are receiving one-day passes to Disney’s Blizzard Beach to make up for any inconvenience.
