The Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is scheduled to begin renovation of its current character rooms, adding a few new characters along the way.
The renovations will remove the Snow White and Peter Pan themed rooms from the hotel, and will add Beauty and the Beast and Tinker Bell themed rooms. The current Alice in Wonderland rooms will also be updated.
The Beauty and the Beast, Tinker Bell, and Alice in Wonderland rooms will be open for guests on February 14, 2015.
Disney has released concept art for the Alice in Wonderland rooms which shows a bright and colorful room – a departure from the current Alice-themed rooms that feature a rather dull color palette.
The current Cinderella-themed rooms will also be renovated and guests can book those beginning March 18, 2015.
The Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will feature 63 Alice in Wonderland room, 52 Beauty and the Beast rooms, 47 Tinker Bell rooms, and 20 Cinderella rooms. Rates for the themed rooms start at $443 (US) per night (which translates into 45,200 yen). Cinderella rooms are the biggest rooms and those start at 96,600 yen per night.
