Disney’s BoardWalk is getting a new Italian eatery before the end of this year.
Trattoria al Forno is scheduled to open in December and will showcase “Old World” Italian food and cooking techniques including handcrafted mozzarella, cavatelli, and Neopolitan-style pizza baked in wood-burning ovens.
This new dining location will serve dishes from several of Italy’s diverse regions including Bologna, Latium, and Milano. Some of the dishes on the menu include pork chop alla Milanese, semolina tagliatelli carbonara, and classics such as chicken breast alla Parmagiana, shrimp with garlic, and baked lasagna.
The wine list will feature all Italian wines from historic regions including Tuscany, Veneto, and Piedmont. More than 60 different bottled wines and 25 wines by the glass will be served including Chiantis, Super Tuscans, Prosecco, and Moscato. The beverage menu will also feature classic cocktails and beer.
Kouzzina by Cat Cora is currently located at Disney’s BoardWalk but is closing in September.
