Victoria Falls Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a cocktail or a glass of South African wine.
The lounge has an all-new menu that pairs the flavors of Africa and India and is inspired by the hotel’s restaurants.
Items on the new lounge menu include a plate of artisanal cheeses with Marcona almonds, honeycomb, Egyptian flowers, and wild strawberry gastrique; tandoori chicken wings; and pork “wings” with tamarind barbecue sauce, crispy onions, and cilantro.
The menu also features African-inspired tapas with dates, cumin green olives, sambal Calamata olives, sea salt pistachios, lemon artichoke hearts, and sautéed feta cheese.
Guests at the lounge can also dine on Peri Peri Scallops with mealie pap or crispy chickpea bites served with sag dahl.
The new menu also features a bread and spread option that includes oak-grilled pappadam, South African sea salt crisps, wheat pita, and house-made lavosh all served with hummus, mango chutney, lentil spinach, and citrus spread.
Victoria Falls Lounge is located above Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
