New Sense of Africa Tour Coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

A new behind-the-scenes tour is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The Sense of Africa tour is meant to encourage guests to use their senses while learning about the animal that live on the savannas. The tour includes breakfast at Boma – the popular buffet at the Animal Kingdom Lodge – which will entice guests’ senses of taste and smell.

The tour also includes a “backstage peek at the care, feeding, well-being and social interactions of the resident animals,” such as okapi, giraffes, and ostriches.

The Sense of Africa Tour will happen on Tuesday and Saturday mornings at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and reservations are now open. The tour is $249 per person and reservations can be made by calling 407-939-8687. You don’t need to be a guest at the Animal Kingdom Lodge to take the tour.
