New Resort Hotel Deals Announced for Spring 2016
If you’re making plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in early 2016 there is a new spring savings deal that was recently announced. Guests can save up to 25 percent on rooms at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels for most nights from March 15 through June 11. And if you choose to upgrade to a room and ticket package with a minimum 4-day theme park ticket you’ll get one more ticket day for free. Disney has recently filed permits for the renovation of the cabins at Fort Wilderness. The notice of commencement filed with Orange County is for work that is scheduled to begin on the 300 cabins located at Fort Wilderness. The contractor listed on the permit is Validus Construction Services LLC, an Orlando-based contractor that has done work at Disney in the past. There’s no official word as to what sort of refurbishment is planned for the cabins, but the Walt Disney World Resort regularly refurbs and updates its resort rooms. Construction on the waterside bungalows at Disney’s Wilderness lodge will reportedly begin in October, and with the start of construction comes the temporary closure of several areas at the resort.
