Details Announced for Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
Disney Vacation Club has announced new details about the newest DVC property, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. The newest DVC resort is built directly over the Seven Seas Lagoon and will sleep up to eight guests. The resort will also have a plunge pool that gives guests views of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. The resort features the largest Deluxe Studios at Walt Disney World, called the 360 Deluxe Studios. Our friends at the Disney Food Blog are reporting that the hotel’s popular quick service location – Captain Cook’s – has reopened! We had the chance to take some more photos of the ongoing construction of the over-the-water villas at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and from the looks of it, things are progressing nicely! When the construction project is completed there will be 20 DVC bungalow villas on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon. The bungalows should give guests the feeling of staying in an over-the-ocean bungalow in the South Pacific. The construction of the DVC villas is expected to be completed in 2015.
