How to Change or Cancel Your WDW Reservations

When planning a trip to Walt Disney World, there are so many details to get right! You have reservations for your room, dining reservations and tickets for the parks. Many people spend months {or even years!} planning a trip and don’t want to think anything will need to be canceled or changed but sometimes it happens.

If you’ve booked a room only reservation, you’ll need to cancel your reservation at least 5 days prior to your arrival to receive a full refund. If you’ve booked online, you’ll need to cancel at least 6 days prior. You can easily cancel or change your reservation by calling Disney at (407) 934-7639.

When booking through a travel agent or through an online site excluding Disney, you will need to contact them directly to make the change.

If you have booked a Vacation Package (room, tickets and/or dining) with Walt Disney World, you can cancel or make a change up until 45 days before your arrival with no penalty fee.

If you are changing or canceling with less than 45 days to go, there is a fee of $200. You’ll also lose any other options you’ve added to the package like travel insurance and even airfare.

If you’re changing your reservation to take advantage of a lower rate and it’s less than 45 days until your trip, there will be a $50 change fee applied.

The cancellation policies and procedures can vary on who you book your vacation with and are subject to change at any time.

Have you ever had to change or a cancel a Walt Disney World vacation?
