When vacationing at Walt Disney World, you may be tempted to be on the go the whole time! Don’t forget you are still on vacation! Make some time for you to relax too!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the best themed resorts in all of Walt Disney World. There’s also so much to do, you could spend days never leaving! There’s also lots of great places to relax at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Here’s a few places we suggest!

The Zahanati Massage Center – The spa at Animal Kingdom Lodge offers customized massage, skin care, and body treatments. The spa is run by Niki Bryan Spas and it’s the perfect way to calm down and unwind after a long day in the parks. Make your appointment as far in advance as possible by calling 407.938.4715.

Uzima Springs Pool – The pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge is a zero-entry swimming pool that is surrounded by layers of greenery and offers ample lounge chairs. There’s even some hidden hot tubs to relax in! Watch out, there are some flamingos near the pool you’ll want to check out!

Firepit at Arusha Rock – Weather permitting, each night around 7:15pm you can slip into a comfortable rocking chair and listen to the native cast members weave tales of their homeland. Gently rocking next to the fire, beneath a sky full of a million stars.

Victoria Falls Lounge – Just off the lobby, this lounge offers comfortable chairs and is a great place to relax and enjoy a cocktail.

Jiko – Offering up fine dining and delicious food, Jiko also provides a relaxing atmosphere. You’ll enjoy some of the best wines that South Africa has to offer as you listen to soft music! Try going after the sun has gone down for a wonderful experience.

  1. I adore the animal kingdom lodge so much. I adore sitting at Victoria Falls with a cocktail, waiting for a reservation at boma….Ahhhh I can dream of returning….

  2. My wife and I absolutely love relaxing on the balcony at sunrise with a cup of coffee watching the animals in the Savannah. What a great way to start the day!
