Disney Vacation Club Celebrates 25th Anniversary with New Merchandise
Disney Vacation Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and members can celebrate with a new slate of commemorative merchandise. The new items include apparel, pins, and more. Guests can purchase a two-sided tee featuring the 25th anniversary logo on the front and a list of the DVC properties on the back. This shirt is currently available for purchase as the Disney Parks and at the Disney Parks online store. A new collection of Dooney & Bourke handbags is coming May 23 to select DVC resorts. Disney Vacation Club has confirmed what many people have been speculating for months – waterfront cabins will be built at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. We reported a few months ago about a construction project at Wilderness Lodge that is scheduled to begin in October. Guests who are staying at the hotel this fall were also receiving letters informing them of possible interruptions from the construction. This summer, Disney Vacation Club members have a chance to try two new guest experiences before the general public. The ‘Family Culinary Adventure’ gives guests a chance to prepare a meal from scratch and learn some “tricks of the trade” from Disney chefs. The experience is available on June 29 and 30 starting at 5 p.m. and the sessions are three and a half hours long.
