Details Announced for Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
Disney Vacation Club has announced new details about the newest DVC property, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. The newest DVC resort is built directly over the Seven Seas Lagoon and will sleep up to eight guests. The resort will also have a plunge pool that gives guests views of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. The resort features the largest Deluxe Studios at Walt Disney World, called the 360 Deluxe Studios. We have exciting news to report! The Silver Creek Springs Pool at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has reopened after closing in September for a refurbishment! The biggest change we’re seeing at the pool is the addition of a fence around the area. The new fence features a mama bear and her cub on the gates. We’ve seen gates at several other Walt Disney World Resort pools, most notably at the Art of Animation and Disney’s Grand Floridian. The cast members at Disney’s Contemporary Resort participated in a pumpkin carving contest during Halloween week. The carved pumpkins were on display on October 30 and 31, and throughout Halloween day guests had a chance to vote for their favorite pumpkins. This Cinderella-themed pumpkin was voted “Best Disney Theme” in the contest. While this amazing Mickey Mouse creation was voted the “Best Overall” pumpkin by guests.
